@Sir_Boops All the game companies (Steam, Gog, Origin) either enable 2FA by default or tie to to a giveaway (like Battlenet + free Destiny 2 last year).

This has very little to do with security, and more to do with those companies not wanting people to share games across multiple people/accounts (like with Netflix or HBO subscriptions).
